The Astounding Power Of Faith

Napoleon Hill said, "Whatsoever the mind of man can conceive and BELIEVE he can achieve." Faith is so important if you are going to achieve your dreams and vision. When following your dreams, I will want you to embrace this advice by Dorothea Brand, "Act as if it is impossible to fail!" And you will NEVER experience failure no matter what comes your way.

Life And Living

Living gives meaning to life.
It keeps death from life.
Death demeans life.
Ultimate is death; penultimate is life.
Between them is the span of life.
Good living earns life.
Erratic, rash living spends life.
Living with rich values enriches life.
Opposites endanger life.
Living is the hammock held by death and life.
Hammock sinks; living loses; close is the end of life.
Heart freezes; pulse chills; living lets go of life.
Death snatches life.
Death hates living; cannot sustain life.
No living; no life.
Death wins; lost is life.
Living implies fine existence; that is called life.

God must be Holly!

Holiness, good, life seem to be inseparable from the truth. However, human mind is limited and cannot really perceive eternity but as much as we can, we "get the idea". God is Holly, He alone is flawlessly Holly…or else…think for yourselves.

I have wondered for a while, thinking about God’s holiness. How do we know God is Holly? Yes, I know the Bible says so but how do I see it for myself and experience it now?

After pondering on it for a while, an idea crossed my mind: the very existence, (the very idea) of right and wrong, of good and bad implies an Inventor of these concepts. If there had not been a "bad", we would not have known what "good" means.

Let’s take an example; suppose you are a princess/prince and you have never seen a rotten apple so far (as all your cooks had to make sure you have only the best apples on your table).

However, one day you see a rotten apple and you wonder what happened to it. You realize the differences between a good apple and a bad one. The lovely aroma of a good apple has now turned into a smelly putrid one that you can’t even think of eating!

Yes, Jesus Himself said that we could know people by looking at what they do; can we pick good eatable fruits from a thorn bush? A good tree produces good fruit; a bad tree produces bad fruit." By their fruit you will know them".

In our relative society, it becomes more and more difficult to distinguish between good and bad and many say "what you consider bad, is a life style for me so it can’t be that bad!"

Anyway, when you look around in the world today, there are so many people who don’t even realize they have a problem! For instance, an alcoholic or a drug addict (I take them as examples for it is on obvious fact) does not even realize they are on their way to destruction. The other actions (lying, gossiping, adultery, homosexuality, witchcraft, etc.) lead to destruction just as much…maybe somewhat less obvious for a first glance; nevertheless, with all technology and progress in medicine, the graveyards are still very much among us, just like they have always been.

Elvis Presley said:" Truth is like the sun. You can shut it out for a time, but it's not going to go away."

I cited Elvis above as I see more and more how there is no holiness without truth and truth is good and good leads to life. The two are left in the end: life and death.

Jesus is the Only one Who can give life as HE is The Life itself! He has the power to defeat death and He proved it by rising up from death and proves it today as well. He said He will draw all people to Him and His Good News will be taken to the margins of the Earth! Now, after two thousand years, we see these things happening and indeed He fulfilled what He said! Not only this prophecy but also hundreds of them! Hundreds!

"We seem to seek the truth when it in fact seeks you." Rick Beneteau

Indeed, The Truth had to seek us, as we cannot reach it by our own strength and The Truth (Jesus) came on Earth and told us that we all have a problem that is the sin and it leads to death. The Truth told us how much the Holly Eternal Creator loves us, and The Truth Himself died for us so that we "the apples of His eyes" would never become "rotten apples"(dead).

Even if we physically die, He promised us that He takes us in His "Dimension" and there we will be alive forever without evil troubling us.

"Truth is what stands the test of experience." Albert Einstein

The truth came on earth and people saw Him, they didn’t fear death afterwards! They saw The Life Itself and died for their belief! Now, I would not die for a lie, would you? If you do not have something/someone to die for, your life is empty!

Another famous quote from Einstein is:" Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind."

Bible has strong foundations and scientists are amazed to see how accurately the science confirms what the Bible announced thousands of years ago! God said the Earth was round and that nothing holds it! Plus so many other things that took science thousands of years to discover!

It is great to have life so ask it from Jesus, He will surely give it to you abundantly as He said this is the very reason He came to Earth, to give us life and not just any kind of life but life from abundance! Plenty, eternal and passionate! May all humans find it and live it!

Meditation vs. Medication

Antidepressants will put your body back into balance. Mood drugs will control your anger impulses. Herbs and vitamins will bring your body back into its own rhythm so you can function better. Herbs, drugs, tonics, etc. all claim to be beneficial to us. But are they really necessary? Is there an alternative to prescriptions that might do the same thing?

For years, meditation has been touted as the "new" medication. By calming your spirit, bringing yourself into focus and into a state of quiet then all will be right with your self. But is that true? And if it were true across the board, would people who have different types of problems be inclined to seek help through meditation rather than medication? After all, a pill is a lot easier to swallow than sitting in silence for 20 minutes.

Buddhism seems to be one of the more popular proponents of meditation, which offers a more labor-intensive re-training of the mind. Some of the questions that were raised in recent research centered around a person’s ability to re-train their mind, and the ability to "self monitor" emotions and behaviors. Using a Tibetan monk as the subject, the researchers found that it is possible to use meditation to overcome certain barriers and behaviors that traditional medicine has been able to alleviate.

According to many mental health researchers, in cases of terminal or chronic illness, meditation is often used to reduce complications from stress. Physicians and the medical community in general are seeking to fund and research the area of meditation, as there are a growing number of doctors who believe that stress contributes significantly to poor physical health.

In 2004, the National Center for Complimentary and Alternative Medicine released a survey that focused on the use of complimentary and alternative medicines. According to the survey, the majority of individuals 18 years old and older used a combination of alternative medicine with conventional medicine. Deep breathing and various forms of breathing meditation was the 2nd most used form of alternative medicine therapy. Meditation that excluded the use of prayer was the 3rd most used form.

The difficulties seem to arise, though, out of knowing which modality will work best for each individual situation. It is important to seek advice from a physician before embarking upon a change in medication or using a different form of therapy. While there is still a lot of research needed in this area, the studies and statistics from what we already know are compelling enough to realize that there is a mind-body connection to improving and maintaining good health both mentally and physically.

The Oneness of the One

Endless debates take place about whether God is personal or pure Spirit, whether one can be in a relationship with God, or whether that God is simply a Consciousness that exists within all. This advocacy of a 'personal' or 'impersonal' divinity is resolved within the consciousness of God that includes both and that is beyond either.

That which is limitless has no name and no measure. Therefore it may be called nameless, faceless, formless, and beyond definition. However, that which is infinite includes all definitions within itself, even as it is beyond them. The limitless God is both personal and impersonal. It is consciousness that is a Being in the sense of having will or intentionality, self-awareness, and the capacity to love, and it is consciousness that is in everything and that IS everything.

As a soul, one has a predilection to relate to one or another aspect of God, because the essence of each soul partakes of the essence of God in unique and particular ways. So does every other soul relate to its own perceived facet of the One, whether personal or impersonal, finding that facet or essence within itself and recognizing it as true. There can therefore be no exclusive principle that eliminates This from That, one aspect of divinity from another, for they are all contained within the Oneness. It is only the ongoing consciousness of duality brought about by the structure of thought and the process of naming, that requires that we say the One is a This or a That.

In the West, many have rejected the heritage of their familial or childhood religions, finding these too repressive, restrictive, guilt-evoking, or just limited in truth. In the search for greater truth many, today, have moved toward Eastern religions which have offered some alternatives to the original childhood dilemmas. And so the pattern of exclusion has become embedded in the need to reject what felt like it was 'less' true in favor of what was 'more' true, when, in fact, the original truth had not been perceived and had been buried under external controls and requirements.

God does not care for names and labels. As a self-aware consciousness that includes all and that embraces all, this Divinity exists both in a relationship of love with each and every individual soul, and exists AS PART OF each and every soul. There is no difference in value between inner and outer, for both are parts of the One, and both form the truth of Divine being.

The need to reject or select out part of the Whole to embrace as a central feature of one's identity does not come from truth, but from a search for self-definition which has been accompanied by a need for healing. Out of this authentic search and the wish to avoid further pain or disillusionment, a partial grasping of the One is sought and held too steadfastly, excluding all others. But the end-result of this is only a temporary end-result, for ultimately, the individual consciousness will need to embrace its limitations and perceive that all are One, all are part of the One, and the One contains all within Itself.

The words 'immanent' and 'transcendent' have been used to describe the orientation of particular religions and their primary focus, and these are good words – words that describe God within and God beyond. But these words also lead to a polarization of different parts of God into segments that cannot easily be reconciled.

'Immanence' relates to the Divine presence or Divine holiness within each and every living thing that is part of the One. 'Transcendence' refers to God the Creator who is beyond all living things and beyond all non-living things as well, who is contained within everything and yet who is greater than this everything, having given rise to it. To select out 'immanence' or 'transcendence' as the basis for choosing a spiritual path is part of what it means to be seeking. It is part of what it means to search deeply within oneself for what creates an authentic experience of Divine reality and truth. But it is not the whole. For the whole cannot be comprehended by the words 'immanence' and 'transcendence' which are just words, and as words, create another duality. No, the one IS both immanent and transcendent. And is beyond either.

The function of prayer has brought people and cultures into relationship with the Divine that is transcendent. These are often relationships of the heart in which the seeker or lover asks to exist in a relationship of love and blessing with the Beloved. Prayer can only be addressed to a divine Being – to One who it is presumed can listen and respond. Prayer cannot be addressed to an anonymous universe or to a universal Spirit.

The function of meditation has brought people and cultures into relationship with the Divine that is immanent – the Divine within. These are relationships in which ordinary consciousness learns to let go of its external referents and acquires the capacity to reflect and merge with the larger consciousness of One of which it is a part.

Both prayer and meditation can bring us into understanding the oneness of the One, the non-exclusiveness of mind and heart, of consciousness and being, of immanence and transcendence. They can form the foundation for knowing that the One is all and everything, beyond words, beyond formulations, beyond every thought that we might conceive of it. And yet that same One is as close to us as our own breath; as knowing of us as our own tears; and as much a part of the center of who we are as any other attribute that we give to ourselves – in fact more so. Thus the oneness of the One can be perceived as being within all, and can also be perceived as being beyond all - the beloved One who is the source of Life itself and who IS Life itself in all its mysterious manifestations.

Back to Oneness: The "Piece de Resistance"

My dear friends, I know that many of you have been deluged and duped for eons into making you believe in "stories" that have one common thread in all of them - if you bother analyzing them at all: The desire to cover the Truth of who you really ALL are, where you ALL originate and came from, and the strong desire to hide your true origin as sacred and glorious parts of the ONE Eternal Energy.

By belittling you, they all have disempowered you and put you in a state of fear and slavery to the sole satisfaction of your senses, and have blocked the realization that you all carry the infinite and Zero/Infinite Point Energy within, and need no technological attire to manifest it. You were born, naked, with all the necessary and sufficient equipment within your Spiritual make-up to far surpass and overcome the sub-gods and dark energies that have been trying to keep your real Divinity down. You have allowed yourself to cover your Eternal One Reality with a cover of skin and dark thought/energy.

Infinity cannot be restricted by others, it can only be made dormant by our own selves, only with our own accord and by our free will. If we believe in our condition of being born in a diminished sinful state and under the control and leadership of Higher beings, then we become what we believe we are. Man is the only being amongst all created beings who carries within his created-self the ability to become fully the Eternal and Infinite Power and Divinity. No other form of expression of The One can attain the full range of the totality of the Tree of Life from top to bottom and back to top - only man can. Each and every single one of you can. Not even the Archangels are given that ability.

Drop all notions of Masters, Avatars, enlightened ones, and your fascination with them. It is only the message which is important, not the illusory individuation. If a message is about the Truth of One, and unification of all, then it is the product of Love, or the force trying to bring us back to our true Source. Such a force can and would only state that all men are created equal under One and bestowed with the same ability to re-member and be granted equal right to happiness. And you should pay close attention to such a message for it originates from Truth.

If a message tells you that all men are not created equal in the One Eye of One, for they have different abilities, and are therefore not bestowed with the same divine right to experience happiness, then it is the product of the counter-force of Fear/control and is originating in untruth. To believe such fear messages and to become hypnotized by them, is to believe in your inferior status, in the notion of "them" - whoever them is - as superior endowed beings, and you as inferior.

Is one of your brain cells superior to a kidney cell? Of course not, they all have their place and role within the perfection of your biology. Should you then bestow more blood-carried nutrients to a brain cell, and have other cells suffer? Of course not, for they should all get automatically all that they require in order to be happily functioning.

To favor one part of One, at the expense of another, is to operate in a state of lack and emergency, and that is not the way of One, which is only about happiness of the One Being in all its Oneness.

There is only One Being in the Universe. One. A-men.

The One created first two forces within the One Being: two direction/pulls for Its perceptual trip as mankind, which is men without the notion of the unity of the A/Aleph/Alpha - the One.

There are only two real forces within that Being.

There are only two forces operating within each and every one of you.

Both operate at once.

Both need to exist.

Both have a very Creative and important role, for without them Creation just cannot be.

You choose at all moments between these two forces.

You alone have free will of choices.

These two primordial forces cannot ever make any choice for you.

Both have no creative input beyond offering you at every moment two choices originating from each.

One force promotes within your inner and outer reality perception of Oneness, Love and reconnection to the Origin/Source of the trip of man, and another force promotes, within yourself and without, fear/separation, ideas of superiority and inferiority, and feelings of disconnection from the real Original Source of who you really are: One.

The Only trip the One consciousness can really have is a perceptual trip of awareness within the infinite recesses of the One Mind.

On one pole of the Tree of Life (trip of One to man(y) and back to One) operates the force called Fear or what some traditions call the S (called Seth, Serpent, question mark with the head/dot down, Satan, reptilian etc.. force) which is the divisive Creative force within us, all of which wants us to believe and go back to the strong belief of the illusory many, lack of control and empowerment, etc.. and has used fear and control for that. It is the downward force within the Holy Tree of Life which causes the One to leave Its stationary point as the top of the Tree where the crowning glory of One exists forever (Kether/crown) and fall into the illusion of being many - through the very creative and fearful instruments which that fear/forcefield begets.

This is the force which brings the Kingdom all the way to the bottom of the Tree, having the King/Queen (at the highest point of awareness there is no feeling of gender, for all is One) forget that sHe is the King (the One). Its role is to ensure that none of us remembers that fact. For the key to redemption back to One is belief. All any individual has to do in order to perceive that he/she is One with One, is to believe without a speck of doubt that he/she left that perception as the King which he/she is, and can always reconnect to his/her crown above.

This Fear force operates and uses masquerades and lies. It does it very creatively, since it is a force originating from the All, and it keeps on feeding us, throughout all the ages, misconceptions, prepared stories (false His-story laden with confirming holographic inserts) which would and could become palatable to many, and fit the myths and beliefs of the space/time constraints experienced. This force is connected to all of us from within, and can inspire all of us. It is part of One. It is metaphorically the gravitational force of the two forces created in order for Creation to be such a Creative trip and path for the One True Reality. This is the force which pulls us down within our trip as One within the Tree of Eternal Life which we have never, ever left, no matter how much that force tries to ensnare us and convince us of the opposite fact.

The other force, operating on the other pole of the Tree of Eternal Life is the force of Pure Integrative Love, as a desire to unify and bring us back to our origin as One. It delights in lifting us from our anchored state of fear and dis-belief in our Being the One. It tells us to let go of old beliefs of separation and elitism for they no longer serve us, and tend to keep us static in pain, and dormancy. It is also connected to each and every one of us, from within, lying often covered with all the deceiving dark thoughts and programs of fear which we have invited and allowed in. It is the Spark of Holy One within each and every One of us: the Real and Eternal Holy of Holies.

Loving Truth originates in the heart of One and man.

Fear and deception originate in the brain of One and man.

Both are needed to sustain life and free will for One and man within It.

You are what you believe you are.

Man's life is not a trip about powers, inborn-talents, but a trip in awareness. The key is BELIEF. You are exactly what you believe that you are. If you believe in your limited self and inferior status, that is who you express. If you believe in your un-limited Self and your Divinity as One, that is who you are.

There is no Karma, no past lives and/or contracts based on this, all this is created by Fear as a way for you to retard your evolution into the full realization of who you really are: One.

This is the trip of One: From One to the many as man, and back to One. A trip from Love to Fear, and back to Love again: The Eternal cycle of Creation for the us in One. It is the evening and morning of a cycle of Creation for the One.

You were NEVER really born, and you will NEVER really die. That is totally impossible. You have no real End, and no real Beginning in the Eternity of your stories as One experiencing again and again the many. Birth and Death are all illusions. You are, were, and will always be ETERNAL BEING, ETERNAL ONE, no matter what you experience, think, or do. However the expressions of your Being might become painful or delightful, based on how far from the Truth of One you situate yourself. Fear will always beget pain, and pain will beget awakening back into Love.

We plunge from One, slowly but surely into fear, as One experiences the many, and the pain of the experience propels the many to rejoin the Pure Loving Truth of One as we re-member who we really are: One Being.

Fear has invented, fed, and carefully cultivated the plethora of divisive stories, elitist theories, religious fallacies, prepared fear myths such as anti-Christ, heavens and hell, false prophets, secret dark societies, many scientific paradigms, and even Holographic inserts mimicking reality (anciently seen Dragons, elves, angelic and demonic realms, sub-gods and creators in human or super-human form, recently appearing ET's, UFOs. paleontological, geological, astronomical, archeological findings, and many scientific laboratory results, etc.,) which innumerable human beings have been visibly witnessing throughout the ages. Much of Fears' written books, and projected recorded arsenals of virtual sound/light reality inserts, are typically targeting the ones who are most ready to accept and embrace the false paradigms which they are trying to create and sustain. These are just stories created by Fear itself. They are constantly and repeatedly fed, in an acceptable format for their times, by the force of Fear, in order to take us away from our real reality as One, and our purpose to rejoin The One Reality on this planet of operation - especially at this important nexus in time/space.

Look closely at Hurricane Katrina. Although it was obviously created from the level of the Oneness of Nature: The One, there are already built-in and prepared stories originating from the pole of Fear - supported by some Fear/inspired military and governmental research, which oppose other lessons which would impute the event to a lesson by One about the necessity and glory of Oneness.

Weather manipulation can be shown coming from H.A.A.R.P and other governmental projects. Illuminati and other 5th column plots can be found in the unlimited bag of tricks of the ultimate trickster (Fear Itself). Choose the trick stories, and you have just been tricked into remaining in a prison of your own making. You have just been tricked into remaining in the Dark matrix, and not choosing the Light one. They both exist - superimposed at once - within your awareness.

It is not the veracity of each story that is at stake, it is your ability to see beyond the story and understand why it needs to be presented to you by Fear at the same time as another loving lesson of Oneness is given. Otherwise how could you, as One, ever have free will of choices and be able to travel the Tree of your awareness of Life up and down at will? Observe please what polarity originates a story, and see the real plot behind the explanation given.

Remember that the Divine rule is that we all need, as the Real One, to have free will. For that to occur, Fear will prepare for each event in our lives a message or explanation based on and fueling fear/separation, and Love will offer another perspective which tries to unify us.

It is only for us, for we all are the One, to make the choice between the two polarities of explanation offered.

If we choose the Fear side, they we enter evermore fear-based realities as we are pulled even lower and deeper in the pure magical crystal river of Life.

If we choose the Truth of One explanation and message (Love) then we are lifting ourselves ever higher and closer to our true essence and are heading to our ultimate reward when we will, as One, crown ourselves back in the crowning achievement that it will be when we finally can proudly say that we overcame all illusions/Fear and unconditionally embraced, no matter what was projected at us, the Truth of ALL of us being ONE and Only: Source Itself.

Both polarity forces: Fear/Separation and Unifying Loving Oneness are only allowed to influence us, but never to control us, for true control is impossible. Free will always operate for mankind, and we are ultimately responsible for the choices we make, whether we acknowledge it or not.

Only measure a story, message, or a life situation by the following criteria and make it the litmus test of evolution: If the situation brings you closer to Oneness, enter it and choose it. If it brings you closer to fear/separation, fear of lack, and elitism, please do not give it energy for it will grip your reality and manifest further. Remember you are the One, you are the only one granted free will.

Remember that you were, are, and never will be SEPARATED from the One, no matter what you believe or perceive of it, for you are right now and forever The One and ALL ONE within One.

Remember who you are, and where you are heading, no matter what happens in between: One.

All ancient traditions tell us that when man was created, many Creator-sub gods and angels became jealous of this dimension. They of course knew that we were the One in a unaware state, and fully knew that we all had the power at any time to awaken into the FULL and total realization of being One, even if only one of us did so. We were, as One, the Only One given full free will to awaken to Source as One. For all One is interconnected as Oneness. They also were told and suspected that in that case their role would probably stop, as intermediary forces/stations. So they tried to block us from awakening. They created, inspired, and fed us unlimited and copious stories that if believed in, would guarantee in their eyes that we would forever forget who we really are: The One Source of All, including them.

In reality they became also casualties of the Fear force and did not understand that ultimately their role would also evolve within the total awakening of Oneness and Love within One.

So, we lived our miserable and perceptual short existence, and repeated in many ways the same fear patterns adapted to our changing circumstances.

Nevertheless, some remembered, threw away all past programming, belief systems, all books, all writings, and fairytales, and opened themselves to their true Self. They united and made infinite Love to the Oneness within their shining heart, and in that act, the Pure Untouched Source, pulsating Life within the Heart of all, started shining bright and mighty across all Universes and the totality of One awoke to Oneness.

And the many operated in Oneness, filled with Love for and in the notion of One, as they knew and expressed within and without that they were One.

This is already written.

This is the story of Creation. This your true Story. The only Truth there is, was, and can BE.

The Ship Without a Rudder

Lately I have spent a great deal of time with rudder-less ships.
People who get up each morning and do exactly what they did yesterday.
Not that they particularly want to... it's just what they do.
They do the same.
Day in, day out.
Year in, year out.

They expend a huge amount of energy sailing in circles on the Sea of Frustration.
Talk to them and they have no real direction.
No clarity and no certainty about what they want their future to look like.
They are desperate for different... without really knowing exactly (or even vaguely) what that different is.

They've never really defined it.
They have no real direction, purpose or vision.
For them life is a chore; a series of unplanned (and often unenjoyable) events.
Life happens to them, around them and in spite of them.

They don't create their best life... their life creates them.

Their daily reality is shaped (if not, totally controlled) by situations, circumstances, events and other people.
They haven't made a (significant) decision in years.
Ever perhaps.
Too fearful, too disorganized, too apathetic, too full of excuses.

They don't set goals (tried it once... didn't work... only leads to disappointment... too much pain). Sure, they know what goal setting is (that is, they have an intellectual understanding of it) but they don't have a practical application of it in their life.

They hope, they wish, they wait... but they don't have clearly defined goals that have translated to actual works in progress.

Much of their existence is spent negotiating a series of unplanned events.
They spend their days reacting and surviving, rather than creating and thriving.
They hope that their crappy life will somehow fix itself or fall into place.

Or perhaps someone or something... will save them.

"How come nothing good ever happens to me?"... people ask me all the time.

The only thing which needs to happen for our life to change for the better... is us; we need to happen.

Many of us have never (seriously) sat down to plan (think, decide, rationalize, organize, create, define) our best life. We spend more time planning a party than we do our life.
Then we wake up one day and we're five years older... still stuck in a reality (situation, relationships, career, health, habits) that we don't really want.
We've compromised.

If we want 'better' (whatever that is for us individually) we need to spend quality time and energy gaining clarity about (defining) specifically what it is we want in.. and from.. our life.

And if we don't define it, we probably won't have it.

We need to stop stumbling and bumbling our way through life.
We need to find our rudder.
The person with no direction is a sad, frustrated, de-motivated and unfulfilled person.
A person who's losing (or has lost) hope.

So often we don't make (significant) decisions, don't take chances, don't have direction and don't have a clearly defined plan for, or certainty about, our future.
We just do what we did yesterday.
We go through the motions.
Again.
We have become creatures of repetition and habit.
We have accepted average.

If you have felt a little rudder-less from time to time, here are some suggestions/thoughts... they will prove to be invaluable IF you do something with them.

1. Spend time determining your life purpose (your reason for being).
No, this is not a five minute process... but do it and you will find your rudder.
You will have direction, purpose, energy, enthusiasm, momentum and joy.
(Remember joy?)
If you struggle to determine your purpose, then start by identifying your beliefs, standards, values, passions, loves, desires and dreams... your purpose will come out of these things.
When I make this suggestion (to explore our life purpose) many people automatically resign the thought to the 'too hard' basket.
Don't be one of them.

2. Decide where you want to be in 1, 2, 5 years.
In your career, your relationships, with your health, your finances, your spiritual life (whatever is important to you). Start with the end in mind (get clarity about where you want to be) and work backwards from there.
Don't panic if you don't know exactly how it's going to happen... first, get some certainty about what you want (specifically) and then you can start to figure out the practical (how-to-get-there) stuff.

3. Make a life-changing commitment.
A commitment that you are going to stop 'coping' with what happens around you and to you... and start living the life of your design.
All successful endeavors start with an idea, a decision, a commitment.
All change starts in our head... when we get to that place (emotionally, psychologically) things will start to happen (practically).
As I've said before... my world will change... when I change.

4. Know that you're the problem and the solution.
Everything else is just a resource, a hurdle, a lesson, an opportunity.

5. Decide what you don't want.
Sometimes doing things back-to-front produces better results.
Gaining certainty about what we don't want (for our life)... will often help us find our rudder.

So now you know what to do.
But will you do what you know?

A Zoroastrian

A statement like the one above is usually received with a blank look almost everywhere outside India; in Europe and America. Zoroaster is the Anglicized name of the Prophet Zarathustra. Now a few more bells start ringing. The more well read and erudite recall that masterly tome by Nietzsche "Thus Spake Zarathustra", where he expounds the theme of Man as Superman. Aficionados of Classical music identify with Richard Strauss’ opus of the same name. Movie buffs have heard it too; only they would recognize it as the theme from "2001: A Space Odyssey" – and perhaps as the music that used to open live Elvis concerts.

So who is this Zoroaster? He was arguably the very first prophet who preached the concept of a monotheistic religion; of one God. He exposed the pagan gods of the Egyptians and Romans and Greeks for the soulless idols they were.

Zoroaster walked the earth a long time ago; so long ago, in fact, that historians cannot even agree on the date; or even the century. Estimates of his date of birth range from 4000 BC to 1000 BC. Zoroastrianism, the monotheistic religion he founded, is the oldest in recorded history. Zoroastrianism predates Christianity and Islam, and many historians say it influenced those faiths and cross-fertilized Judaism as well, with its doctrines of one God, a dualistic universe of good and evil and a final day of judgment. The holy scriptures of Zoroastrianism, known as the Avesta, speak of individual judgment, heaven and hell, the future resurrection of the body and life everlasting for the soul.

Zoroastrianism was the state religion during the thirteen centuries of the Persian Empire (559 BC to 651 AD) that pre-dated Alexander the Great and outlasted him by almost a thousand years. It, along with Judaism, was the most prominent world religion at the time of Jesus. Many historians have deduced that the Magi, who anointed Jesus at his birth, were Zoroastrian priests.

Zoroaster lived and preached in the Inner Asian steppes, a region encompassing the Western part of Iran and the Eastern part of Afghanistan. He is said to have received his divine revelations directly from the one God, whom he referred to as Ahura Mazda; and his archangels, known as Amesha Spentas. The holy scriptures, collectively known as the Gathas are revered by Zoroastrians as the Word of God, directly revealed to His Prophet.

Zoroastrians believe that Ahura Mazda is "all-good", that He created the world and all good things, including mankind. He is opposed by Anghra Mainyu, the "destructive spirit" (or the devil), who is the embodiment of evil. Zoroaster exhorted his followers to constantly fight against evil in any form. He revealed that a cosmic battle is waging between Ahura Mazda and Anghra Mainyu, that will ultimately result in the destruction of evil. Shades of Armageddon and Judgment Day, perhaps? His followers live by three simple tenets: Good Thoughts, Good Words, Good Deeds.

Zoroastrians once dominated an area stretching from what is now Rome and Greece to India and Russia; and their numbers were between 40 and 50 million. Soon after the advent of Mohammed, the mighty Persian Empire was finally toppled, 1400 years ago, by the invading Arab armies. The Zoroastrian population was decimated by massacres, persecution and conversions to Islam. Seven boatloads of Zoroastrian refugees fled Iran and landed on the coast of India in 936 AD. Their descendants, known as Parsis, built Mumbai, formerly Bombay, into the world capital of Zoroastrianism. Bombay is the place of my birth. Those refugees are my ancestors.

There is an interesting story (fable?) about that first landfall on the West coast of India. Apparently, the local Hindu king was less than pleased – and not a little alarmed – at the sudden advent of these tall, fair Aryans. The leader of the refugees, a High Priest, assured the king that his people would not harm, or interfere with the native population. To illustrate his point, he asked for a glass of milk and a few spoonfuls of sugar. As the sugar dissolved, he explained that – in the same manner – his followers would be unobtrusive and blend into the local population.

The Zoroastrian religion is full of joy. A short daily prayer, Ashem Vohu, says happiness comes to those who give happiness to others. One main reason I happily embrace the faith I was born in is that it has very few strictures or taboos. Unlike the Torah and the Koran, the Avesta is not a detailed guide laying down rigid rules for daily living – rules which can be manipulated to suit and justify a certain ideology, as the terrorists are tragically doing today with their perverted version of Islam. Essentially, the Avesta exhorts Zoroastrinas to be the best they can be; do minimum harm to others; give to charity whatever they can afford; and, most importantly, fight evil – whatever form it takes – wherever they encounter it. Unlike the fundamental strain of Islam and some puritanical sects of Christianity, it does not frown on healthy enjoyment; it actively encourages it. There are no dress codes. Zoroastrianism does not subscribe to the view that lustful feelings in men are so uncontrollable that the mere sight of an unveiled woman would let them loose. There are hardly any dietary restrictions.

Zoroastrians are sometimes mistakenly referred to as "fire worshipers". It is true that the focal point of our temples is a large urn containing a big fire that is kept continually burning by feeding it sticks of sandalwood. It is said that the original refugees, during the exodus to India – lasting several weeks – kept the sacred fire continuously burning through the power of their prayers alone. Fire is regarded as a great purifier and a means of communicating with Ahura Mazda; the fire itself is not an object of worship. In fact, Zoroastrians have enormous respect for the environment and the elements: earth, wind, fire and water.

It is this respect for the elements which leads to the Zoroastrian ritual for disposal of the dead. It is a practice unique to the religion; and one some may consider a little barbaric. But there is a method to the apparent madness. Zoroastrians believe the physical body, after death, is an empty shell devoid of a soul; and one that, hopefully, will be resurrected in the next life. The dead body is, in fact, subject to decay and, therefore, a source of pollution. Burying it would pollute the earth: similarly, cremating it would pollute the sacred fire. Hence, the ancients came up with their own eco-friendly system. They left their dead, uncovered, on the slopes of mountains; to be devoured by wild animals and vultures. That way, the body did not pollute any of the elements and, in its terminal phase, was of some use to living creatures. Nowadays, with most Zoroastrians living in cities, the old ritual has had to adapt itself. Wild animals are hard to find. The modern practice is to leave the bodies in large open wells, popularly known as Towers of Silence; there for the flesh to be picked clean by vultures and the rays of the sun. The bones are periodically removed and buried.

Zoroastrian priests are not required to be celibate. In fact, a normal family life is encouraged. Neither are they expected to immerse themselves in the holy scriptures, 24 hours a day. Remember, Zoroastrianism is a very free religion. Actually, most Zoroastrian priests also have a day job. A typical case would resemble that of Kersy Antia, a psychologist practicing in Illinois. In his private life, Mr. Antia dons a long white robe, slips a veil over his face and goes to work as a Zoroastrian priest, performing weddings and ceremonies initiating seven to nine year-old Zoroastrians into the faith (something like a Bar Mitzvah or a Communion).

There is a palpable panic among Zoroastrians today —in India, the United States and around the world — that they are fighting the extinction of their faith. From a peak of almost 50 million at the heyday of the Persian Empire, their global population has dwindled to 190,000 at most, and perhaps as few as 124,000. The majority of Zoroastrians still reside in India, but about 11,000 Zoroastrians live in the United States, 6,000 in Canada, 5,000 in England, 2,700 in Australia and 2,200 in the Persian Gulf nations. The Zoroastrians’ mobility and adaptability has contributed to their demographic crisis. They assimilate and intermarry, virtually disappearing into their adopted cultures. And since the faith encourages opportunities for women, many Zoroastrian women are working professionals who, like many other professional women, have few children or none.

Despite their shrinking numbers, Zoroastrians are divided over whether to accept intermarried families and converts; and what defines a Zoroastrian. An effort to create a global organizing body fell apart two years ago after some priests accused the organizers of embracing "fake converts" and diluting traditions. The orthodox elements within the community feel that the religion is not universal and is ethnic in nature, and that it should be kept within the tribe. The very tenets of Zoroastrianism could be feeding its demise. Zoroastrians believe in free will, so in matters of religion they do not believe in compulsion. They do not proselytize. They can pray at home instead of going to a temple. While there are priests, there is no hierarchy to set policy, although some conservative elements take it upon themselves, rather pompously, to dictate what is good for the religion. Fortunately, they are in a minority. Moreover, despite, or because of, the high intermarriage rate, some Zoroastrian priests refuse to accept converts or to perform initiation ceremonies for adopted children or the children of intermarried couples, especially when the father is not Zoroastrian.

Although the collective picture is bleak, most individual Zoroastrians appear to be thriving. They are well-educated and well-traveled professionals, earning incomes that place them in the middle and upper classes of the countries they reside in.

So are people of my faith doomed to become extinct as the dodo within the next 200 years? It is possible, of course, but I have not lost hope. Those seven boatloads who arrived in India probably thought they wouldn’t last long either – they were only a few hundred, after all. But, 1400 years later, we are still around and thriving – albeit in reduced numbers. Zoroastrianism is a happy religion; and happiness is what makes life worth living. I believe we will prevail.

Living Without Blame - The Way of Peace

There are circumstances that arise, today, in which it can feel entirely justifiable to blame others, both on the collective level and on the personal, and yet the energy that we give to blame is not conducive to producing any effect other than to cast us even further into a depth of discouragement and despair.

Blame is the ego's way of protecting itself from feeling helpless. It arises in situations of frustration and deprivation, and instead of allowing us to feel grief-stricken or filled with loss or sorrow in a way that would help us heal, blame creates an active component of feeling – a sense that there is something we can do about the distressing circumstances we are dealing with. By engaging with blame, we tell ourselves that we are taking an active step in asking that justice prevail, or that others who are the cause of our distress become different.

Here, it is important to separate two things: the desire that circumstances that cause pain, suffering, or deprivation be different, and the energy of anger or blame which we bring to the situation. For this energy, instead of being useful to us in a larger sense, ends up using us so that we do not see the full picture of how to work within the situation or what changes within ourselves the situation might call for.

This is the truer version of life's opportunity in relation to situations of deprivation or pain – that we find within ourselves a willingness to trust and to align with the positive in life rather than the negative, by being willing to absorb our own pain, and instead of sending back into the world more pain that others can receive from us, to hold our own pain within ourselves and send back good instead.

This attitude may feel like it is beyond us, especially in instances where pain seems too great or deprivation or loss too severe. At such times, it is necessary to pray for an enlargement of the heart so that it can become big enough to hold what needs to be held, knowing that it is possible with Divine help. For this is the challenge of deprivation and sacrifice, not that we accept it in the sense of doing nothing to change the external conditions that may have led to it, but that we become able to find a measure of enlargement within ourselves so that we can bear pain without creating more of it for others. We do this not because we wish to suffer, but because we are identified with the lot of all in life, not just with our own lot.

The expansion of the heart in relation to its capacity to hold loss and sorrow and its desire to convert these into something that will be of benefit to the world, has a transmutative effect on the feeling of anger or blame. That is, it removes the need for these, and instead gives us a capacity to live freely and in peace with whatever circumstances life brings to us. Such a perspective does not create passivity as some would fear, but reflects a determination to be a force for good in the world and one that will be of benefit others.

In addition to this motive, another arises from the fact that blame and anger take from us precious energy and focus that would otherwise be able to contribute to the forward motion of our own lives in immediate ways – in decision-making, in planning, in imagining, and in just being able to be in the present in an ease-full way. Often, hidden from our waking consciousness, yet active, the negative energies that we hold within ourselves are disturbances to our own sense of peace. Sometimes we can feel them directly as eruptive anger or as another disturbing emotion. At other times, they operate as a wound below the surface of perception that cannot be healed because it has been left unattended.

The place of peace lies in the freedom to choose which emotional currents we will permit in our emotional house, and which we will leave behind. Those who seek peace must seek also to let go of the desire for anything that would conflict with this goal. The mind may not know how, but the heart knows the way. To begin to create peace within the heart, it is necessary to lay down one's arms, metaphorically speaking, and to determine to live in a way that is blame-free. When the heart truly desires this, the soul will find a way to teach the lessons of peace and the mind will progressively learn to accommodate.

May all beings who seek peace in the world find rest in the knowledge that it already lies within them, waiting to be found.

The Bible--Facts

The Holy Bible contains 66 books written by 40 different authors over approximately 1,500 years. The King James Bible contains 1,189 chapters, 31,101 verses, 783,137 words, and 3,566,480 letters. The Bible was the first book printed by Johannes Gutenburg, the inventor of the modern printing press in 1455-57. The Old Testament was divided into verses in 1448 and the New Testament was divided into verses in 1551. The longest book in the Bible is Psalms. The shortest book is 3 John. The longest chapter in the Bible is Psalm 119 and the shortest chapter in the Bible is Psalm 117. The Bible is the best selling book in the world, with the total number of Bibles sold or given away each day estimated at 168,000 (Wycliffe International). A recent survey by Barna Research Group revealed that nearly 92% of American households own at least one Bible.

Bible Verses
Bible verses allow the story and facts of the Bible to be separated into practical tools for study and application. They allow the reader or teacher to isolate the meaning stated by the authors. This, in turn, facilitates translation and understanding of the subject matter. For example, Genesis 1:3 states: "And God said, Let there be light: and there was light." The next verse, Genesis 1:4, follows: "And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness." A Bible verse usually contains a single sentence. Sometimes a verse contains two or more sentences. The longest verse in the Bible is Esther 8:9 (78 words in the King James). The middle verse in the Bible is Psalm 118:8: "It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man." Using Bible verses has become a popular and effective way to apply God's will to practical living. As snippets of God's Word, Bible verses form the basis of church sermons, Bible studies, and reference tools in teaching.

Bible Verses--The Power

Bible verses clearly communicate the message of God throughout the Bible. While liberal scholars and New Age proponents increasingly dispute the literal meaning of the Bible (and even God's existence), the verses of the Bible are clear and concise expressions of God's enduring truth. A powerful example of this type of verse is the way to salvation through John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Another solid truth is the importance of persevering as expressed in James 1:12: "Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him." A final declaration of the power of scripture is found at Hebrews 4:12: "For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Bible verses challenge people to make the right choices and think about their actions. Bible verses are God's gift of communication for His people to understand and follow. Bible verses inspire us, comfort us, and convict us. Bible verses reveal God's love and bring everlasting hope.

When you sit in front of Baba to meet Him,
Don’t worry about the wrong doings in the past
Or have un-necessary expectations about future
did not / could not do my last year’s home work...
Can i do it this year?”
No such questions / doubts—
Just be there.
He’ll fill you with whatever you need.
He is fully there for you. Just for you.
He says “You are mine, I love you for what you are—
Not for what you should have / could have done.”
No more, no less—
Just be there.
Past is gone, future is yet to come,
why worry about ‘your worthiness’ or ‘unworthiness’?
He is willing to give to you.
Don’t obstruct the flow with your own doubts.
He never, never, never doubts your worthiness.
He is always there to give to you—
Just be there.
You’ll get it all and in full.
are worthy in his eyes at all times and in all states,
So don’t worry.
He is always there for you. Just for you.
Just be there.
He’ll fill your apron with what all you’ll ever need
Just be there.
Guilt, fear, doubt, worthless feelings, inferiority...
Have no place in front of Him.
You are all His and He is all yours—
Just be there.
He came all the way just for you,
So just be there.
That’s all He expects from you—
Just be there.
He doesn’t want anything from you,
So don’t worry about having to give Him something.
Remember He has come to give you,
Not just something,
But everything you’ll ever need.
So to receive all that fully
Just be there.
You’ll get everything fully and successfully—
Just be there.
Don’t worry about last year’s homework
Or this year’s work to come—
Just be there.
He is not a whip-wielding teacher.
He is your sweet father...
So just be there.
He does not ask your progress report
Because He doesn’t need it.
Just be there.
FOR GOD’S SAKE JUST BE THERE!

The Entropy Law

The current state and the future of the world
In Physics, there are two laws, which deserve to be ranked as the supreme law. These are the first and the second law of Thermodynamics. Albert Einstein, world’s most eminent scientist, made the following observation about these laws: "The more impressive a Theory, the greater is the simplicity of its premises, the more different are the kinds of things it relates and the more extended its range of applicability." As stated in the above observation, the laws of Thermodynamics have a very wide range of applicability. These can be applied to Cosmology, History, Economics, Development of Institutions, Military, Nuclear fission and to almost everything. It would therefore, be of great advantage to know briefly what these laws are and how these explain the present state of the world and what they predict about the future
The first and the second laws of thermodynamics:
The first law of Thermodynamics is the "law of conservation". It says that energy can never be created or destroyed; it can only be transformed from one form to another form. For example, when we use petrol or gasoline in the engine of our car, most part of it gets transformed into work, some of it changes into heat and some part goes out as exhaust products.

Now, in relation to this first law, it is very important to consider two things. One is that the shape, texture and movement of everything is made up of energy. Not only gasoline, coal or kerosene oil is made up of energy but rather human body, an automobile and a candle also are embodiments of various concentrations and transformations of energy. When a candle or a car is made, it is made of energy that has been gathered from somewhere else. It has not been created but transformed. The second important thing to be considered in this connection is that, when the candle is burnt, its energy does not get destroyed but is transformed from one state into another so that the total content of energy in the universe remains constant. So, it is rightly said that "there is nothing new under the sun."
The second law of thermodynamics says that every time energy is transformed from one state to another, there is a loss in the amount of that form of energy, which becomes available to perform work of some kind. The loss in the amount of ‘available energy’ is known as ‘entropy’. For example, if we burn a piece of coal, even then the total amount of energy remains the same but, due to the process of burning, some part of coal is transformed into sulphur-dioxide and other gases which go out and spread into space. Now, this part of the coal which has been transformed into sulfur dioxide and exhausts cannot be reborn to get the same work out of it. This kind of loss, wastage or penalty, is called 'Entropy'.
The second law of Thermodynamics explains that the total entropy in the world is constantly increasing. An entropy increase, therefore, means a decrease in ‘available energy’. Further, not only does available energy decrease every time something occurs in this world but the unavailable energy-form works as pollution.
Thus, according to the second law of Thermodynamics, the world is moving towards a dissipated state and the pollution in the world is constantly increasing. Furthermore, "entropy", (i.e. the ‘unavailable’ energy or pollution) in the world always tends towards a "maximum" – says the German physicist, Rudolf Claussius (who first coined the term ‘entropy’)- Rudolf Claussius further says that, in a closed system, energy moves from a higher level of concentration to a lower level as heat always flows from a hot to a cold body so that, we find that, ultimately, they have reached a stage where there is no longer any difference in energy level. This is known as ‘the equilibrium state’. This is the state where entropy has reached the maximum. i.e. where no longer ‘free energy’ is available for work. For example, when water going over a dam falls into a river, its energy can be used to generate electricity, but, once it reaches the river level, it has no ‘free’ or ‘available’ energy. Its energy is now ‘bound’ energy and it is now in the state of equilibrium.

Now the important fact that needs be pointed out in this context is that the earth is a closed system in relation to the universe; in other words, it exchanges energy but not matter with its surroundings. And the universe itself also is a closed system in the sense that it does not have any flow of energy from any other universe. The amount of energy in the universe has been fixed since the beginning of time and will remain fixed till the end of time. Such being the case, the two laws of thermodynamics mean, in their final analysis, that the fixed endowment of terrestrial matter that makes up the earth and the mountains is continually dissipating and what appear ‘renewable sources’ are really non-renewable sources ultimately. In Sir James Jean’s words, "The universe is like a clock which is running down", which so far as science knows, no one ever winds up. It is at present a partially wound up clock, which must at some time in the past have been wound up in some manner unknown to us. So, the universe is like a clock, running down, whose entropy is increasing continually. Even a farmer understands that, even with constant sunshine, it is impossible to grow the same amount of grass on the same spot year after year till eternity.

Now, these facts of science, based on law of Thermodynamics, are well established. In the past, there have been many attempts by well-known scientists to challenge these laws but their attempts ended up in strengthening the position of the second law.
Another aspect of Entropy Law: (from ordered to disordered state):
Besides the energy moving from available to unavailable states and from high concentration to low concentration, there is another aspect of the second law of Thermodynamics. Entropy Law states that all energy, in an isolated system, moves from an ordered to a disordered state. The state in which energy-concentration is highest and available energy is maximum, i.e. where entropy is minimum, is also the most ordered state. In Indian scriptures, that state is called Satogun. In contrast to this, the maximum entropy state, where available energy has been highly dissipated state, in Indian scriptures, it is known as Tamogun state.

The above is in accordance with our everyday experience of the world around us. As things are let on their own, they do tend to spontaneously move to more and more dis-ordered states. If we leave our office unattended for a period, it becomes more and more dis-orderly. Another aspect of the law is that whenever we make an attempt to reverse the entropy increase, it is only done by increasing the overall entropy of the surrounding environment. The scientists Angsist and Hepler say: "each local, man-made or machine-made entropy-decrease is accompanied by a greater increase in entropy of the surroundings, thereby maintaining the required increase in total entropy.

Now, this has very great implication for the society. In practical terms, it means that the society deteriorates and becomes disorganised gradually. There is degeneration in its moral force, its spiritual stamina, the vigor of its character, the effectiveness of its character, the effectiveness of its religion and the sense of law and order. In Hindu scriptures, it has, therefore, been said that the moral and spiritual energy of the society goes on degenerating so that, ultimately, it reaches a stage of maximum entropy when God has to intervene to reverse the entropy and to bring about Satyuga or Golden Age when all material things have maximum energy-concentration, i.e. are Sato-pradhan and the souls also have maximum ‘available’ moral and spiritual energy.
According to Dharma, the souls have originally 16 degrees(100%) level of energy-concentraton and gradually due to entropy, the energy level goes down so that when there is maximum entropy and the level of energy-concentration is hardly one or two degrees, then God, the Highest Point-source of Spiritual energy, reverses the spiritual entropy by means of Godly Knowledge and Raj Yoga and the material entropy gets reversed by means of fission of nuclear weapons, natural calamities etc. so that the earth, the waters, the air and their products get again the maximum energy-concentration or satopradhan stage. In other words, when the society has passed through its four stages of Satyuga, Tretayuga, Dwapur Yuga and Kaliyuga and is in the fifth, i.e. the Sangam Yuga (confluence age), then God descends to reverse the entropy.
The need for God’s act in such a situation is evident because, according to the Entropy Law, in a closed system, entropy increase cannot be reversed without increasing the entropy in the surroundings and therefore, in real terms, an outside source of energy is required to raise the energy concentration without lowering the energy level in the surroundings.

It would be of interest to the readers to know that the Greeks also considered history as a process of continual degradation. The Greek historian-Hesiod, has described these five ages as the Golden, Silver, Brass, iron and Heroic Age. The Greeks believed that each of the succeeding Age was more degraded. The Golden Age was the highest. It was a period of affluence and peace. The Belief was: "In the beginning, there was a golden race of immortal men, who lived like gods, with hearts free from care, without labour and sorrow. Pitiful old age did not await them, but they were ever the same in strength of hand and foot. When they died, it was as though they were overcome by sleep. All good things were theirs and the grain harvest was yielded by the bountiful earth of her own accord--abundantly and ungrudgingly – while they lived in peace and goodwill upon their lands.
The following is what has been said about the Iron Age: "For now, in these latter days is the Race of Iron. Never by days shall they rest from travail and sorrow, and never by night from the web of the vices. The father shall not be of one mind with the children, nor the children with the father, nor the guest with the host that receives them, nor friends with friends. Parents shall swiftly age and swiftly be dishonoured. The righteous man or the good man or he that keeps his oath shall not find favour, but they shall rather honour the doer of wrong and the right shall rest in might of hand--and truth shall be no more."
The Greeks believed not only in inevitable process of decay during the each subsequent age of history but, they also believed that, finally the universe would approach chaos and then God would intervene once again and restore the original conditions of moral and material perfection, so that the process would then begin once again. Thus, they did not believe in the evolution of man from the state of chaos or disorder to a state of civilisation and development but from a state of perfection to a state of moral degeneration and also in repetition of the world cycle.
Similarly, the Romans also originally believed in a process of continual degradation. In Roman mythology, it is said: "Time depreciates the value of the world." The Christian view of history is also almost the same. Though they abandoned the Greek concept of cycles--they believe that, originally, God created man in His own image and sin entered into the world later.

Scientists have known for some time that the Earth's magnetic field is fading.

Like a Kryptonite-challenged Superman, its strength has steadily and mysteriously waned, leaving parts of the planet vulnerable to increased radiation from space.
Some satellites already feel the effects.
What is uncertain is whether the weakened field is on the way to a complete collapse and a reversal that would flip the North and South Poles.
Compasses pointing North would then point South.
It is not a matter of whether it will happen, but when, said scientists who presented the latest research on the subject at a recent meeting of the American Geophysical Union in San Francisco.
But when is hard to pinpoint. The dipole reversal pattern is erratic.
"We can have periods without reversals for many millions of years, and we can have four or five reversals within one million years," said Yves Gallet, from Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris, France, who studies the palaeomagnetic record and estimates that the current decay started 2,000 years ago.

Flip or flop

Over the last century and a half, since monitoring began, scientists have measured a 10% decline in the dipole.
At the current rate of decline it would take 1,500 to 2,000 years to disappear.
SEAFLOOR RECORDER

As molten rock rises, spreads out and cools, magnetised minerals record field direction
Over millions of years, the seafloor rocks retain a 'barcode' of pole reversals
These pole reversal events may take perhaps 10,000 years to complete
The last major pole flip appears to have been about 780,000 years ago A particular weakness in the field has been observed off the coast of Brazil in the so-called Southern Atlantic Anomaly. Here, eccentricities in the Earth's core have caused a "dip" in the field, leaving it 30% weaker than elsewhere.
The extra dose of radiation creates electronic glitches in satellites and spacecraft that fly through it. Even the Hubble telescope has been affected.
Magnetic reversals were always preceded by weakened magnetic fields, said Dr Gallet, but not all weakened fields bring on a flip-flop.
The Earth's invisible shield could also grow back in strength. "Then sometime, maybe 10,000 years from now, the dipole will decay again and that will lead to a reversal," said Harvard physicist Jeremy Bloxham.
The theme was recently taken up by Hollywood in the movie The Core, in which the Earth's core mysteriously stops spinning, effectively turning off the electromagnetic field.
The movie is nonsense, scientists told BBC News Online, except that the Earth's magnetic field is generated by activity deep inside it.

The Dreamspell Story

The Dreamspell Story
The Dreamspell is part of a prophetic "time release." It is coded into the information left by the Classic or Galactic Mayan. This insight was discovered by Dr. José Argüelles. It was brought to light in his pioneering work on the codes of time, The Mayan Factor, in which he identified the dates for the world-wide peace event known as the Harmonic Convergence. Dr. Argüelles and his wife Lloydine further revealed and refined their understanding of the secrets of 4th dimensional time in their subsequent work, The Dreamspell. According to Dr. Argüelles, a Dreamspell is "any agreed upon belief system which creates a continuing state of consciousness." We are now at the end of the Dreamspell of history and at the beginning of the Dreamspell of galactic culture. This means that we are coming to the end of the belief in the male dominant, warrior hero, fear and separation paradigm. And we are preparing to move into the love based, artist hero paradigm of natural time. All we have to do is change our view of time and open ourselves to the love that is inherent in us all. There have been many dire predictions about this time in the history of the Earth. Most common is the prediction of the end of the world. This is a misconception. It is meant to be the end of Time. An end to the old, limiting, arbitrarily imposed, artificial time, the time of the male dominant, warrior hero, separation and fear based paradigm. This paradigm is held in place by the use of the 12 month calendar and the 60 minute hour, which we refer to as 12:60 time. The end of artificial 12:60 time signals the beginning of the return to natural time, a time in harmony with the Earth and with the natural cycles coded into the human female biological cycle, the cycle of 13 moons and 28 days. It holds within it the potential to reinstate a balanced, positive, artist hero, love and unity based paradigm. The purpose of this calendar is to make available these codes of natural time. The secret of time is that it is the 4th dimension. The codes of time are found in the sacred calendar of the classic Maya, known as the Tzolkin. Within the cycle of the 260 day Tzolkin there is a 13 day galactic cycle, associated with the "galactic tones" and a 20 day solar cycle, associated with the solar tribe glyphs. These two smaller cycles turn together and overlap to form the 260 day cycle. This is the cycle of 4th dimensional time, which comes into the solar system from the galaxy. It runs concurrently with the 365 day cycle of the year, to create 4th dimensional time as it applies to this solar system.Time is both spiritual and physical simultaneously. This is why it is the 4th dimension. It serves to bridge between the physical and spiritual because it operates within both. This calendar is designed to help you understand the aspects of time as the 4th dimension and to give you access to the physical and spiritual aspects of time. The natural cycle of physical time is governed by the movement of the Earth around the Sun in a circle. It is then divided by the movement of the Moon around the Earth in a circle, the 28 day cycle coded into the bodies of all women on the Earth. This is the cycle that governs the physical aspects of life. Men are coded with the 28 day cycle, as well, in the 28 day biorhythm cycle. This calendar also shows you the corresponding dates from the 260 day sacred calendar, the cycle that governs the spiritual aspects of life. The Dreamspell Calendar offers you the ability to access both the physical and spiritual aspects of time, in a very natural way already coded into the lives of everyone. It is also designed to serve as a conversion calendar from the old 12:60 time to the new time of 13:20, as it contains the dates which correlate it to the 12 month calendar everyone now uses, known as the Gregorian Calendar. You may ask, "If this cycle is so natural, why aren't we already using it?" Actually, all ancient indigenous peoples used this system long ago, not just the Mayans. The 12 month calendar commonly utilized today is known as the "Gregorian Calendar" because it was instituted by the edict of Pope Gregory in 1582. However, it is just an update of the original Julian Calendar, the calendar instituted by Julius Caesar as a calendar of conquest. In truth, Rome's purpose in imposing the Julian calendar on the people they conquered was to take away the power from the people and to give their power away to Rome. Invariably, this calendar was imposed on people who were utilizing the 28 day, 13 moon calendar system. These were people who were very in tune with nature, because of their connection to time as a natural cycle. To take their power away, Caesar imposed a false time upon them. A time which would take them out of step with nature. A time which would force them to look to Rome as their source of power. It was not until the early 1900s that the 12 month calendar was accepted as the world standard. So, in truth, 2000 years later Rome has conquered the world. And nobody even questions the accuracy of the calendar.Let's look briefly at the 12 month calendar and see why it is an inaccurate way to measure time. First of all, it has months of different lengths. If someone gave you a ruler and some of the inches were longer and some were shorter, would you use that as an accurate form of measure? Secondly, whenever you have to think, "30 days has September..." in order to remember the inharmonic numbering of the days of the months, you are actually reverting to a grade-school level of consciousness. Thirdly, the names of the months July and August are both named after Caesars. September, October, November and December are Roman words that mean 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th month, respectively. But are they ? Finally, the beginning of the year, January 1, is a date arbitrarily chosen by Caesar. Why are we still following the edicts of Rome ?When we are born we are not asked what calendar we want to use. We simply have one imposed on us by the people who have come before us. Time is a mental concept inreference to the way we perceive it. We simply have to change our minds and time will change. In fact, it will revert back to its natural state. This act alone will begin the movement of our culture back into harmony with nature. This is a monumental time in the history of the Earth. We have the opportunity to shift one of our core beliefs, the belief in time as linear. It is the 12 month calendar that holds in place the belief in the past, present and future. Time is a cycle, not a line. Each time the cycle turns we have the opportunity to make our lives better.Yes, this is the end of time. It is also the end of the world as we know it. But, that does not mean destruction. It simply means that we are preparing to birth a new world in which we can live and love in peace, harmony and goodwill for all.

Rajyoga Meditation

Do You Wish TO Be Special?

Dadi Janki 19th November 2006 Melbourne, Australia

Do you wish to be special?

In order to become special, see the speciality in each one. All Brahmins are special. Simply keep a record of giving regard to each and everyone. There is difference between respect and regard. I remain in my self respect and move forward whilst giving regard.

By keeping realising who I am and by continuing to see Baba, your self respect will increase every day. Success in service means effort and success also means being with the family also. Keep a good record of having regard for everyone. Everyone keeps regard for one who has regard for all.
Now, keep in mind to do whatever Baba says and to be a jewel of the forehead. Is it first that we sit in Baba’s heart and then become the>jewel of the forehead or the other way around? Ask yourself this. Your eyes will show your remembrance and by staying in that stage you will pull towards yourself.

Baba remembers both the old and new ones. Baba is drawing the attention of the old ones and giving full attention to the new ones. To the old ones He says, “Don’t waste your time in waste thoughts” and to the new ones, “Come here and you will get the co-operation of the family”. When new ones see the family they become very happy. When contact souls come they see that everyone here is so happy

Thought For Today

Live simply so that others may simply live. It's a nice idea, but our lives are more complicated and complex than ever. What can you simplify today - your desk, perhaps your thoughts, a meeting? Simple means easy. Simple means asking, "Is this really necessary?" Simple means keeping it short but sweet. Simple means keeping the focus of your attention on what you need to do now. Today's mantra is, "lets keep it simple."
